REPLICATION MANAGER is an orchestrator for high availability on top of MariaDB 10.x and MySQL & Percona Server 5.7 GTID replication topologies or Group Replication Topologies like MariaDB WSREP or MySQL GRPREP .
Including topology detection and topology monitoring, enabling on-demand replicas to leader promotion (also known as switchover), or electing a new write leader on failure detection (also known as failover). It enforces best practices to get at a minimum up to zero loss in most failure cases using semi-sync replication.
REPLICATION MANAGER interfaces seamlessly with enterprise recognized proxies such as ProxySQL, HAProxy or MariaDB MaxScale, providing failover capabilities on top of database traffic routing.
